Spain-based AlertaCoches (“CarAlert”), a website that used car buyers can utilize to search multiple marketplaces simultaneously, grew to more than 10,000 users last year, La República reports.

Founded in 2021 by Santi Márquez and Gabi Nogueira and headquartered in the Galician city of A Coruña, it searches marketplaces Wallapop, Banco Santander’s Coches.com, AutoScout24 and Motor.es, as well as digital auto retailers Clicars and AutoHero. Notably, the local market leader — Adevinta’s Coches.net — is not on this list.

According to AlertaCoches, “[it] is a tool created to facilitate the search for a car for anyone who regularly uses secondhand car search portals. The aim of the tool is to prevent you from having to spend large amounts of time doing the same searches over and over again and to show you advertisements from other portals in which you may be interested.”

According to the company, uses can search some 8.4 million listings, with its database updated every six hours.
