Melanie Bochmann (above) has resigned as director of corporate communications and public affairs at Madrid-based workforce-as-a-service provider Job&Talent. She joined the company in September 2022.

In a LinkedIn post, she wrote: “Time flies when you’re having fun — can’t believe it’s been only / already two years! Today I packed up my work equipment at Job&Talent as I get ready for an exciting new chapter (more on that soon!).”

“I’ve had the privilege to build a communications team from scratch in Spain’s most successful unicorn.”

“You can be proud of your impact, creating the entire comms framework from scratch, positioning J&T on a global level and putting together a rockstar team and leading it smoothly and kindly. Your shoes are big to fill,” Christof Schminke, SVP of global brand and communications at Job&Talent, commented on the post.

Prior to joining Job&Talent, Bochmann was director of corporate communications at Berlin-based on-demand delivery app Delivery Hero. She has also worked as a content marketing manager, a public relations manager and a magazine editor. Bochmann has an MA and a BA in media communications from the University of Technology Chemnitz.

Revenue at Job&Talent rose by more than 90% year on year to €1.9 billion ($2.0 billion U.S.) in 2022. It operates in 11 countries across Europe and the Americas and has raised more than $850 million in funding to date from the likes of Atomico and Softbank.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the company had raised $19 million through the sale of convertible bonds to its existing shareholders and extended the deadline for the repayment of $385 million that it owes investment company Blackrock until the end of next year.
