Kuwait-based marketplace horizontal 4Sale has appointed Fadila El Badry (above) as CMO. 

El Badry joins 4Sale from the Egyptian Banks Company, where she spent two years leading its marketing campaign for Egypt’s first-ever instant payment app. Prior to that, she spent eight years working in marketing at Vodafone Egypt.

At 4Sale, it will be El Badry’s responsibility to execute marketing campaigns that promote the company, enhance the positioning of its brands and increase customer engagement.

4Sale operates 197 categories across such verticals as property, real estate, jobs, services and general goods. Company founder and CEO Tarek Sakr has said he wants 4Sale to reach two million active monthly users by the end of next year (this would represent almost half of Kuwait’s population — 4.3 million in 2022).

Last month, the company appointed Mohamad Salah Khouzam as COO
