Russia-based marketplace horizontal Avito has fully acquired used car listings aggregator Haraba LLC, according to an entry in the state register of legal entities.

Founded by Kamil Gadzhiev in 2026, Haraba is based in Dagestan in the Caucasus — one of the poorest regions in the Russian Federation. “Haraba” means “vehicle’ in several Turkic languages.

In 2022, Avito subsidiary KEKh Ekommerz LLC, bought a 67% stake in Haraba for RUB280 million ($3.5 million U.S. at the time), with an option to buy the rest of the company two years after that, Forbes Russia reports.

Haraba aggregates car ads from such sites as Avito Auto, and and claims to have 1.3 million used car listings. It also provides such services as checking car histories.

The company had revenue of RUB433 million in 2023, recording a net profit of RUB166 million.

Avito is owned by Kismet Capital Group, which is controlled by billionaire businessman Ivan Tavrin.
