Plsko is responsible for strengthening Alma Career’s communications and social relations in active dialogue and cooperation with state representatives, employers and employees, NGOs, and other stakeholders in Central Europe, the Balkans, and the Baltics.

One of Plsko’s main responsibilities will also be to engage in dialogue concerning the labor shortage, a challenge Alma Career is actively addressing through initiatives like Profesia Lab. This is a newly formed non-profit collaboration with Michigan State University aimed at helping young people enter the workforce through training and experience.

Plsko joined Alma Career from a Slovak bank, where he worked as the head of communications for the past four years. In this role, he monitored legislative processes and regulatory changes and actively participated in green projects at the EU level. Additionally, his responsibilities consisted of stakeholder engagement, corporate affairs, external and internal communication, and corporate responsibility and sustainability topics (ESG).

“Jozef Plsko’s expertise is a valuable asset to Alma Career as we pursue our goals in Central Europe, the Baltics, and the Balkans,” said Vesa-Pekka Kirsi, senior vice president of Alma Career, in a news release announcing the appointment.

Alma Career includes recruitment sites Jobly.fi, Jobs.cz, Prace.cz, CV Online, Profesia.sk, MojPosao.net and MojPosao.ba, in addition to Prace za Rohem and online training service Seduo.
