Proto Corp.’s annual revenue up 9.5 percent

Proto Corporation (TSE: 4298), owner of auto vertical GooNet and motorcycle marketplace GooBike in Japan, recorded a 9.5 percent rise in its net sales to 62.1 billion yen ($561.9 million U.S.) for the fiscal year ended Mar. 31. This was thanks to robust sales in its mainstay automobile-related information business.

Indeed revenue skyrockets 68% in H1 (Updated)

Indeed.com, the global job search engine, grew its revenue 68 percent in H1 of FY2017/18 (Apr. 1 to Sept. 30) y-on-y to ¥99.1 billion ($800 million U.S.), and its EBITDA 97 percent y-on-y to ¥16.1 billion ($142 million U.S.), according to a 33-page earnings report released by Recruit Holdings (TSE: 6098) yesterday.
