Proto Corp.’s annual revenue up 9.5 percent

Proto Corporation (TSE: 4298), owner of auto vertical GooNet and motorcycle marketplace GooBike in Japan, recorded a 9.5 percent rise in its net sales to 62.1 billion yen ($561.9 million U.S.) for the fiscal year ended Mar. 31. This was thanks to robust sales in its mainstay automobile-related information business.

Proto Corporation, owner of auto vertical GooNet and motorcycle marketplace GooBike in Japan, registered a nearly four-percent rise in revenue to 42.4 billion Japanese yen ($368 million U.S.) in the 9-month period to end-December of its FY2016/17 from the 9-month period in FY2015/16.
