World-leading staffing group Recruit Holdings posted a decent 8.2 percent year-on-year rise in its revenue to 567.2 billion yen ($5 billion U.S.) for the first quarter ended June 30. Strong revenue growth continued in the group’s job site Indeed.com, with a 56 percent increase in U.S. dollar terms.

Indeed revenue skyrockets 68% in H1 (Updated)

Indeed.com, the global job search engine, grew its revenue 68 percent in H1 of FY2017/18 (Apr. 1 to Sept. 30) y-on-y to ¥99.1 billion ($800 million U.S.), and its EBITDA 97 percent y-on-y to ¥16.1 billion ($142 million U.S.), according to a 33-page earnings report released by Recruit Holdings (TSE: 6098) yesterday.

Indeed generates $1.1 billion US in FY2016/17

The financial year of Japanese staffing firm Recruit Holdings (TSE: 6098) runs to end-March. In the financial year 2016/17 it recorded revenue growth of 15.8 percent to JPY 1.8 trillion ($16.1 billion U.S.), the company announced on May 12.
