Konstantin Kalabin is an independent senior consultant and analyst who joined the AIM Group in 2012 after more than eight years of strategy, consulting and management experience in the classified advertising industry. Kalabin has worked for Trader Media Group, which publishes AutoTrader.co.uk and the Auto Trader magazines in the U.K., and for Slando, which operates classified sites in Eastern Europe including Russia and Ukraine. He served as GM of Slando, and grew revenue more than 70 percent for two consecutive years while increasing traffic more than 100 percent year-over-year. At the AIM Group, he is focusing primarily on Eastern European and the U.K. markets, as well as providing market-size and revenue analysis services.He works with leading internet companies and investors, with a particular focus on the most profitable segments – online marketplaces (including but not limited to classifieds), niche verticals, online communities and most recently mobile disruptive technologies (apps are to internet what internet was to print, no less).
